Over the last 15 years it feels like everything has become a “feed” and all of these “feeds” are curated by algorithms. I get why this started happening. The amount content being generated increased significantly and to keep up would be nearly impossible. So those who control the feeds implemented algorithms to attempt to surface what it decides it thinks you’ll like (and a big helping of ads so they can make money).
